Continue the tour to the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. This beautiful temple is dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh. It rises in a series of terraces from the desert plain and blends with the limestone cliffs that surround it.
Colossi of Memnon:
The Colossi of Memnon are two huge statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III made of stone. They were built to protect the temple where Amenhotep III was buried.
Karnak Temple:
The Karnak Temple is the biggest one in the world. It has ruins from the 21st century BC and many other monuments from the 7th century AD. In other words, one temple holds almost 3,000 years of history.
