Questions travellers ask

Straight answers, every day

The exact questions we get on WhatsApp — answered the way we answer them there.

Ask us anything
Is Egypt safe to visit in 2026? +
Yes — Egypt is a safe destination for travellers. Tourist police are present at all major sites and hotels, and millions visit each year without issue. Apply the same common sense you would in any busy city and you'll enjoy every sight and beach without worry.
How many days do I need to see Egypt? +
You can see Cairo and Luxor's highlights in 2–3 days, do the classic Nile cruise in 4–5 days, or cover Cairo, the Nile and Abu Simbel comfortably in 6–8 days. Our itineraries above are organised exactly this way.
Do I need a visa for Egypt? +
Most nationalities can apply for an e-visa online before travelling or purchase a visa on arrival at the airport for around $25 USD. We confirm the exact requirement for your passport when you book.
Can women travel alone in Egypt? +
Yes — thousands of solo female travellers visit Egypt every year. Dressing modestly, using arranged transfers, and having a local guide (included on all our tours) makes the experience smooth and comfortable.
How much does a trip to Egypt cost? +
Day tours start from $45 per person with hotel pickup. Multi-day packages start around $450, and 4-day Nile cruises with full board from $500. Tailor-made itineraries are quoted to your dates and group size — with 7% off when you inquire directly.
Can I go inside the pyramids of Giza? +
Yes — the Great Pyramid and the pyramid of Khafre open for interior visits with a separate ticket. Passages are narrow and warm, so it's not for everyone, but it's unforgettable. Your guide arranges tickets on the day.
