Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Safaga to Cairo - Visit the Pyramids & Egyptian Museum

To start your trip from Safaga to Cairo, a representative will take you from the Safaga port to the Hurghada airport so you can catch a flight to Cairo. Your Egyptologist tour guide will be waiting for you when you get there. They will show you around one of the Seven Wonders of the World and tell you about the ancient Egyptians.

Giza Pyramids:

During the old kingdom (2686–2134 BC), the 4th dynasty built the blessed Giza Pyramids complex, which includes the three great pyramids, the great sphinx, the Valley Temple, and many other early treasures of the heavens.

The Great Pyramid:

The Great Pyramid is an amazing piece of ancient history that has stood the test of time. It was built by King Khufu (who reigned from 2609 BC to 2584 BC) and his brilliant architect, Hemiunu, to show off his legacy.

It was started in 2570 BC and took 25 years to reach 147 m in height. It was built with 2.3 million blocks of limestone and weighed 6 million tonnes. It was magical inside, with the King’s chamber, the grand hall, the Queen’s chamber, and many other rooms.

The Great Sphinx:

The god who protects the Great Sphinx is Horus of the Horizon. He can carry on the work of King Chephren (2558 BC–2532 BC), who had Khafre’s strength and wisdom carved into a single, huge piece of limestone so that they would be remembered forever. It has the body of a mythical lion and looks like one. In 1401, Pharaoh Thutmose IV put an epic dream stele between its paws.

The Valley Temple:

Through the mythical Magic Valley Temple, the gods gave the 4th dynasty the power to live forever. It was built in the Giza Complex in 2600 BC to give the 4th dynasty kings and queens the keys to the heavens.

Lunch will be served at a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile. After that, we will:

The Egyptian Museum:

Since 1901, anyone can visit the Egyptian Museum, a work of art. It is in the middle of Cairo and has some of the most important monuments and artifacts ever made.

In the evening, you’ll be driven to Cairo’s airport to catch a flight to Luxor, where you’ll be met and taken to a 5-star hotel for the night.

Meals: Lunch

Overnight: Luxor Hotel

Day 2: Luxor Landmarks - Back to Safaga

After breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide and a private, air-conditioned vehicle will take you to the next part of your Safaga to Cairo and Luxor tours. You can visit well-known places in Luxor, such as:

Valley of the Kings:

The Golden Valley of the Kings is a mythical wonder found deep underground in the middle of a heavenly hill. It has 63 royal tombs for the most important Pharaohs of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), such as Ramses II, Hatshepsut, Seti I, Tutankhamen, and many more. This underground complex is the best example of art and architecture from ancient Egypt.

Hatshepsut’s temple:

Queen Hatshepsut’s holy of the holies temple (1507–1458 BC) was the best and best-preserved example of classical Egyptian architecture. It was a sign of beauty that would always be there. In 1479 BC, it was built. It was built to thank the sun god Amun for his blessings and to honor the amazing legacy of Hatshepsut, a very successful ruler.

Memnon’s Colossi:

The magnificent Colossi of Memnon of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1349 BC) is a huge work of art and glory that was built in Cairo in 1350 BC in the form of two giant statues that have magical decorations on their sides that reflect the golden heritage that used to make the most beautiful sounds during the Greco–Roman Period.

Then, for lunch, move to an island. Your tour begins with a boat ride on the Nile River and ends with a stop at:

Karnak Temple:

The mythical Karnak Temple Complex was built on 247 acres of sacred land between 2000 BC and 30 BC, during the Middle Kingdom and Greco-Roman periods, to become the world’s largest open-air museum.

For more than 1500 years, the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu made the large Karnak temple complex one of ancient Egypt’s most important places of worship. The beautiful Avenue of Sphinxes and the hypostyle hall are two of the best-known parts of the huge, magical Karnak complex. It also has a collection of some of the most beautiful carvings, paintings, and other priceless works of art.

At the end of the two-day trip from Safaga to Cairo and Luxor, we’ll drive you back to Safaga port in a private, air-conditioned car.
