Alexandria is about 110 km away. Visit World War II battlefields and cemeteries ( WW II Cemetery). One of the most important things that happened during this War was the Battle of El Alamein. The Military Museum, which has displays of weapons, uniforms, and tanks, will be your first stop on the Alexandria shore excursion.
There are also details about what Montgomery, Rommel, and the other people who fought in the battle did. Visit the World War II Cemeteries, which are west of town on a small peninsula with a view of the water. There are cemeteries that look like forts where soldiers from the Commonwealth, Greece, Italy, and Germany are buried.
